Hard days

They're sleeping great. You're not.

Somebody in a thread stopped the same week you did. Now they're posting about deep sleep and a calm they can't explain. You read it on a day you feel like wet cement. Your mind does the math in two seconds. Same start. Different results. Only one variable left, and it's you. The math feels airtight. It's rigged.

You're holding your raw footage up against their trailer. Nobody posts the night they snapped at everyone and went to bed at eight. And that person isn't living in your body. Different sleep before they ever quit. Different pressure this month. Different history underneath. Nicotine took what it took from you, in its own amounts. Your repair is refilling your tank, not theirs.

Healing doesn't publish a schedule. Some people get their sleep back first and their calm later. Some get the reverse. Late only means something when there's a departure time. There isn't one here. There's a direction, and you're facing it.

Close the thread now. Mute the account if you need to. Some voices are too loud for a tender stretch. The only numbers that apply to you are your own. God's keeping every one of them, including the ones nobody posts, and He isn't grading you against a stranger. Nobody will post about today. It still counts, because you're spending it free.
