Beating cravings
The strength you don't have yet
Maybe right now you genuinely feel like you don't have what this moment needs — the craving is loud and your tank is empty. Good news: you were never supposed to run this on your own tank.
Generations of people have gotten free on a simple, un-heroic prayer: God, give me what the next few minutes need, because I don't have it. Not eloquence — honesty. The strength arrives sized to the moment, not to the whole imagined future. It always has.
Notice you're not asking to be spared the craving. You're asking to be held through it — and that request has never once required you to be strong first. Weak and willing has always been enough. It's the oldest trade there is: your honesty for His steadiness.
So say it plainly, wherever you are: *I can't, on my own. With You, I can wait five minutes.* Then wait the five minutes. You'll find they were carried, not climbed.
